Mid-Potomac Regional Comprehensive Plan
A public meeting for the Mid-Potomac Regional
Comprehensive Plan is scheduled for Thursday, March 18, 2010 at
7:00 p.m. in the Three planning areas will be discussed:
The Planning and Zoning Commission of Allegany County is holding this meeting. Residents, stakeholders, and interested parties are invited and encouraged to attend and participate in the process. Staff members will be present to discuss the project and to answer questions. For additional information contact Allegany County Government’s Planning Services Office at 301-777-2199. NOTE: Multipurpose Building: Upon crossing the train tracks and entering the fairgrounds, first turn to the right, then turn to the left and proceed to the large, white building with the red roof. There is ample, free parking by the building.
Stormwater Management Ordinance
Public Hearing Allegany County
received approval of the revised Stormwater Management Ordinance
from the Maryland Department of the Environment (MDE) in January
2010. The revised ordinance, which was developed in response to the
State’s “Stormwater Management Act of 2007,” can be viewed
